Browns vs Steelers

After Week Three’s Results, This Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers Matchup on Thursday Night Suddenly Became Far More Compelling and Meaningful. Sorry if I Thought About Sitting This One Out In Week One When Both teams and offenses posted negative EPA Per Play.Somehow, both teams managed to reach 2-1 after three games despite questions about their respective quarterbacks, and they could have entered the week undefeated had they played at the level we saw in Week Three. Deshaun Watson, Despised By His Own Fans and analysts alike, has notched five touchdowns and just one interception through three weeks Of This NFL Season. In the NFL, it’s Never Too early to star, especially with playoff implications in conference and division Play. Watson Puts On an Encore For The Third Game In A Row as He Leads the Browns to Knock Off the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24. Because nearly every win the Browns Have Registered This Year Fits into the Upset Category, So Upset Goes Without Saying. Still, Cleveland’s Offense And Defense Had To Rebound and show some Resilience In This Matchup. The Steelers Set The Tone Early After a quick 3-and-out by the Browns Offense To start the game. Aaron Rodgers led the Steelers on a 17-play, 78-yard drive that ate up nearly ten minutes without the Steelers Running The Ball Much. Brown picked up Multiple Defensive Penalties That Kept the Steelers going, even as multiple Aaron Rodgers Passes Hit The Turf. The Steelers Presumed Gameplan TO Work The Clock Early Left Little Room For Error Ehich Happened In The Second When Aaron Rdogers Threw an Interception right Into The Hands Of Brown’s Corner Denzel Ward A Favorite Target Of Rodgers In His Time With Steelers To Ill Effect In Most Cases. The first two drives for the Browns Ended With Seven. The Browns' offense struggled to move the ball, but after the turnover, They Began to Take Shape.e The Browns scored three touchdowns on Three Straight Drives to snatch the lead and momentum of the game in the second quarter. The First Scoring Drive: Deshaun Watson hit two big pass plays of 10-plus yards in a row before Jaleel McLaughlin punched in a 28 Yard Rushing Touchdown Through The Steelers' defense. Cleveland Rushers accumulated 108 yards off the Steelers' missed tackle, and McLaughlin picked up 24 yards after Contact On His 28 Yard rush alone. After a Quick Steelers three-and-out, the Browns Added to their lead when Deshaun Watson connected on a 60 Yard Pass to rookie receiver Denzel Boston. Three plays later, the Browns found the end zone once more in less than four minutes since their last score. This Time, Quinshon Judkins capped off the drive with a Two-Yard score. Watson accounted for 72 of the 74 yards on the Browns' drive. Watson engineered a third touchdown of the second quarter on this drive, capping it with a two-yard strike to tight end Harold Fanin Jr. In those moments, Watson Didn’t Look Like The Champion From Clemson, The Quarterback From Houston, or The Man The Browns hoped they'd nabbed as a Big Deal. Still, he looks like the best option at quarterback, the player with the "best chance to score points and move the ball” and Not A $230 Million Nightmare. Watson produced a 24/33, 73% Completion Percentage, 268 Passing Yards, One Touchdown, One Interception, and a 94.0 Passer Rating. His Quality Of Play Tapered Off In The Second Half, and he decided to nurse the lead rather than finish the onslaught. Watson threw more short passes in the Third Quarter. When Leading, Deshaun Averaged 3.88 Average Depth Of Target as the Browns' Play Caller Aimed to Stretch the Time. Not Throwing Short Betrayed Deshaun Watson In The Fourth Quarter as He Dialed Back to Hit a Deep Ball That Ended up in Steelers Robert Spears-Jennings' Hands. The Browns Fought Back Against The Steelers, only to find them surviving a late charge. The Steelers Crept Back Into the game despite an inconsistent effort from Aaron Rodgers, and They Scored Two Second-Half Passing Touchdowns. Rodgers threw for 22/40 for 299 passing yards and an 83.2 passer rating, as his accuracy oscillated throughout the game and much of the season. The Steelers' comeback effort falls short as Cleveland Hangs On to Seal The Victory. The Browns sacked Rodgers Five Times, forcing Pittsburgh into a One-Dimensional Attack: just 19 Rush Plays After Rushing The Ball Effectively Against The Bengals, compared to 45 Pass Plays. Warren Stil Picked Up 93 Rushing Yards On 17 Carries, 5.5 per Carry. In the Receiving Game, DK Metcalf came alive late in the Second and Produced His Best Game of the Season with Five Catches for 115 Receiving Yards. The Browns Picked Up Some Late Gains On The ground That Didn’t Exactly Seal the Game but Helped Flatten the Odds of a Collapse. Wins Don’t come easy in the NFL, and Dropping An Early One To The Browns could drop the Steelers' playoff odds down The Stretch. Pittsburgh Can’t depend on another Ravens Collapse to secure a Playoff Spot. Can the Browns Continue To Win And Sustain The level of play displayed through three games? The Offense Relies Heavily On Young, unproven players, most of whom have one or two years of experience, and is shouldered by a quarterback playing at a level most anticipated of him three years ago; Watson Has Only Now Started To Make Strides In His Game. Rookie Wide Receivers Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion led the Browns in receiving, with 89 Receiving Yards For Boston and 64 for Concepcion, with a Pinch of Contribution from Running Back Quinshon Judkins (43 yards) and Veteran Jerry Jeudy (36). The Browns Will Rise To The Heights Watson Can Lift Them

This year.
